The Young Theatre Company offers Primary Schools a range of exciting performing arts services to bring drama, dance and singing to life for all pupils in Key Stage 1 & 2. Why not let us come and make a real difference at your school?

Why should schools use us?
Using outside Performing Arts Specialists can help you to provide quality arts learning experiences for your pupils. It also gives your school an opportunity to address the issue of statutory non-contact time. The Young Theatre Company can offer you all this and more! The pupils we have worked with love the fun and exciting activities which develop their skills in drama, dance and singing. They learn teamwork and social skills, and at the same time develop their self-confidence.
What do we offer?

	Performing Arts Workshops Class workshops for pupils in the form of an exciting blend of dance, drama and singing. Sessions can last between 45-60 minutes per class and form part of a weekly programme of work each term, with an end of term presentation of work and a recording of a school CD. For any number of classes, KS1 & KS2.

	Play In A Day Curriculum linked or story based play worked on throughout the day, with a presentation to other pupils at the end of the afternoon. Including theatrical lighting and sound. For 1 or 2 classes, KS1 or KS2.

	Musical In A Day Curriculum linked or story based musical incorporating drama, songs and dances worked on throughout the day, with a presentation to other pupils at the end of the afternoon. Including theatrical lighting and sound. For 1 or 2 classes, KS1 or KS2.

School Production Packages We are also available to help in many ways with your own school productions, including direction, choreography, costumes, sound, lighting, music and access to our own range of internationally acclaimed children’s shows.
